Netcom's primary business offering centers around its online tunable RF filter product finder, making efficient product discovery a critical part of the customer experience. However, the existing platform buried products beneath multiple layers of categories, relied heavily on dense technical content, and presented search results in a way that made comparisons difficult. The redesign focused on simplifying navigation, improving information hierarchy, and creating a more intuitive product discovery experience, enabling customers to quickly identify and compare the filters that best met their technical requirements.
The platform was redesigned with significant user experience and interface improvements that made browsing, searching, and product selection more intuitive and efficient. By reducing friction throughout the shopping journey and improving the overall usability of the experience, customers were able to accomplish their goals with greater confidence. The impact was reflected in post-launch surveys, where 99% of customers reported being satisfied with the redesigned user experience

Existing form autoscrolls user down upon form submission completion. This eliminates the ability to do existing searches while also performing poorly on mobile.
Too much content creates a less intuitive experience. Simplifying the search process to focus on one key objective: locate the item for the customer.
There is a need to preserve all search related content to better understand the market and to focus on future marketing campaigns related to tunable filters.
